The Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe (COMZ) is a private sector voluntary organization established in 1939 by an Act of Parliament. The members include mining companies, various stakeholders consulting engineers, and various mining related professional bodies and individuals.
At the recently held Annual General Meeting, Zimasco the largest integrated ferrochrome producer in Zimbabwe scooped top exporter’s awards in the HCFC and Chrome Ore Concentrates categories. The Chief Executive Officer Mr. John Musekiwa accepted the awards on behalf the company. Mr. Musekiwa was humbled by the MMCZ gesture of recognizing the efforts of the company. He attributed the success to the hard work of management and staff, and he encouraged everyone in the organization to work towards another productive year in 2019.
