Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the vacant position of a Standby Driver on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to performance:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 `O` Level passes including English and Mathematics
- Class One Driver’s Licence and Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
- At least 30 years old and have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience with an excellent safety record or age restriction exemption
- Good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Safely driving company buses and vehicles to transport personnel, goods, or clients to designated destinations
- Handling routine and emergency transport requests and responding quickly when called upon
- Carrying out pre-run/shift and post-run/shift vehicle checks and maintaining such records
- Reporting breakdowns and faults in the shortest possible time
- Promoting safety awareness when carrying out duties and strict adherence to traffic safety regulations
- Carrying out housekeeping as per NOSA SHE Standards
